When my son was in a metal band and played in our garage on a Sunday, we had some irate neighbours. With a band competition looming more practice was needed so they put out a notice to neighbours so they knew when the band was practising/ Oh there were complaints (still) but a former cop sent our son a card saying he thought it was great they had a passion for music, and a woman in her 80s said she danced past out garage when she heard the music playing.
