I hung sheets and towels on the clothesline
this morning, as the weather looked promising.
And now they are more wet than when I clipped
them up....

Your Laundry!
Now even fresher with Clew Bay rain
from the brisk, salty waters of the Atlantic!

And now, Fun With Meat....

I really prefer my ox tongue to be tethered.
To a stake. In the yard.

I don't know what to say about this:

And I'm not sure just what this is....is it bear?
Baloney? Is it edible?!

Obviously, I've been skulking around the Tesco
with my camera like some kind of Nutrition Spy.
I get some odd looks. But who could resist
the urge to document these fine examples
of World Meat?!!

  1. Tongue is one thing, but Billy Bear looks kinda scary.

  2. That ox tongue running loose is even more frightening than the contained lunch tongue in the cans. They sure do have a fondness for tongue, don't they? Eight slices of Billy Bear...now that's a totally different story. Yikes!

  7. Did you ever find out what Billy Bear was? I used to have to cook up tongue for my father- he loved it. And headcheese too.

  8. Billy Bear = "meat" product. Although how much actual meat it contains is questionable.
