health-care rally last night after dinner at Palace
Kitchen. What a great scene! The "pros" outnumbered
the "cons" by about thirty to one. It was peaceful, with
lots of chanting and cheering. There was a large police
presence; I think there were actually more police
present than protesters. Feelings of hope
and optimism were running high.
Well, happenstance! Right up your little alley! I didn't realise that the health scheme was in such a terrible way over there. Thank God we've got our travel insurance, as we've been told that only one day in hospital could cost $5000!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't open your clip yesterday; it kept 'buffering, buffering....'. Sometimes the weather plays havoc with clips and we haven't got the fastest broadband in the world either!
