You were traveling in or had just returned from Ireland, the first day I read your blog. You'd posted photos of an abandoned cottage, looking as though the inhabitants had just walked away leaving nearly everything behind. So belated happy St. Patrick's day and thank you for such an indelible memory of our meeting. xo
The Spider is a Wasp Spider. Pity St Paddy didn't rid Ireland of those too (not that they're poisonous).
