I received these words from Robin this morning:
That was the best dinner ever. Woodsy. Fungal. Nutty.
Rootsy. Delish. Lovingly prepared by a loveable boy.
There's no place I"d have rather been. Wonderful company.

Over the top.
I am one lucky mom.
Holy crow. Hire him? Somebody should canonize him!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what you wrote. A few words were recognizable but if I saw this on a restaurant menu I think I would either panic or order the number 6 (whatever it is).
ReplyDeleteSandra! You are funny. I love "holy crow"!
ReplyDeleteBill: !!!!! (If my son were cooking the number 6, you'd be mighty happy.)
Just sayin'.
leftovers? please? you are such a tease!
ReplyDeleteOops! I left out a course. Just added it.
ReplyDeleteMelinda: just a bite, or regular servings? (There are lots of leftovers, which I'd be delighted to share.)
Oh YUM.......he must have learned from you???
ReplyDeleteSounds like the perfect Birthday meal!
Ima -- heck no! He went to culinary school.
ReplyDeleteI'd just had my wisdom teeth removed the day before--which makes it all the more amazing that R was up to the task--not only was he celebrating all that I love about fall, but he was able to do it in a way that was so nurturing--I can't wait to see what he does for us over the holidays. Beautiful boy, beautiful mom.
