too bad he didn't drive all the spiders from Ireland, too. (not really, I like spiders...)

That spider knows a blessed space when he sees one.

Tara, I don't like spiders, but I tolerate and respect them as long as they ARE NOT IN MY HOUSE. I have not once invited a spider into my home, and yet, there they are, scurrying across the floor.

mybabyjohn -- thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! This photo was taken at a holy well in North Mayo County, Ireland. It was indeed a blessed space.

If you're interested, it's a female 'Wasp Spider' (Argiope breunnichi).

Cro - it's a BIG MUTHA female Wasp Spider. Does she like to bit people? Probably a trip to the hospital for me....

I did let a Tarantula crawl on my arm and hand once -- in a controlled zoo setting. it was pretty cool. SOFT and fuzzy.
