The Dimming of the Day

Richard Thompson closed his show last night with this:

His voice drops me to my knees, makes me weep.

Today at work I said:

"No more inspiring words. I just want to feel better."

Damn.

It's been one of those weeks.

I know what you mean...he has heartbreak in his vocal chords.

The week is almost over...maybe a weekend of indulgence and or stupor. No thinking. Just feeling better.
