An old friend welcomes me back....

The Compact Edition of the Oxford English Dictionary,
out of sight these past three+ years.
Back together again.

  1. This made me smile, T. Old friends nourish our souls. May you continue to be nourished and soothed.

  2. Dear T., I hope that lovely doorstop, the OED, adds to your feeling of still being yourself in spite of the hurt and betrayal of late. I hope it stabilizes you, reminds you of the gifted writer you are, how language can anchor you--and that the OED is a marvelous anchor.xo

  3. oh lordy, we're in for some trouble now!
    (for all you not-T.'s, her puns are already killer. Now that she has more ammunition... well, let's just say I'm ordering a flack-vest on Amazon.).

    wv= suckst
    I dedicate it to you (your recent past, not your future).

  4. Now you'll be able to reach when a lightbulb needs changing!!

  5. reunited and it feels so good....

  6. Like a long, welcome visit from a very smart friend. xo
