One tart. 
Apple tart.
Two apples, 
not Two Tartes.
(And not too tart.)


Used my new 6" tart pan.
Flour, butter, sugar, an egg yolk,
apples (two), cinnamon, walnuts.
A side of Greek yogurt sweetened with
brown sugar and a dash of vanilla.
Can you say "perfection?"

    There, I said it and I meant it. I had a little epiphany last week that had to do with exercise *and* diet, though I only blogged about the exercise part so far.

    It kills my soul to take the joy out of cooking and dining by agonizing over recording calorie and gram counts. So I'm not going to do it anymore! I'm going to keep a log of all the exercise I do and rejoice about that, rather than analyzing and tracking every mouthful of food that I eat and worrying about it.

    I *am* committed to being mindful of portion size, but I am giving myself permission to eat a small amount of any dadgum thing I want to!

    Bring on that apple tart.
