There exist people who insist on framing
my name (T.) in quotation marks. Why is this?
It reeks of preciousness and makes me gag.
My names doesn't come with quotation marks
any more than yours does, okay, "Britney"?
Yours Truly,
(((((((((T.))))))))

  2. I'm confused: Is it "(T.)", (T.), T., or T. not "T." [that is, (T. not "T.")].

  3. Yes. And to the tenth power.

  4. I like my T. best when she's being not T.

  5. Urgh, this would drive me crazy, too. I think it is in large part because most pple don't understand grammar, punctuation, parts of speech, etc., nor nuances of the written word and its accoutrements.
Kind of like store signs that read: "Toys' for sale."

  7. Oh, so quotation marks are bad but parentheses are a-okay? (just kidding)

  9. "Pam" -- (((((((hugs)))))))

JOE-knee -- I was attempting a kind of punctuational sarcasm with the parentheses, which to me look like a visual Hallmark effect. (Not sure if I'm making sense here; haven't had my coffee yet!)

    Ima -- you're innocent.
