Many thanks to John Hayes at robertfrostsbanjo
for bestowing upon me the Superior Scribbler Award!
It can be lonely out in blogland and a little bit
of recognition goes a long way. Again, thank-you, John!
(I'm supposed to pass this award on to five other
bloggers, but I just don't have it in me at the moment.
I'll put it on the back burner and sometime in the future
I'll keep my part of the bargain. Promise.)
Congrats on your award.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading that Updike poem. So true.
Dumdad -- Thanks! And welcome to Premium T.
ReplyDeleteI discovered your blog via Mouse Medicine -- love your sense of humor.

ReplyDeleteremember first seeing pilobolus years and years ago when we lived in texas, then we moved to connecticut and were able to see them a few more times....they are amazing ...watching them makes me wonder if I'm a member of the same species
will have to check out p's review
bellingham.....love that town - my em went to college there for a few years until she missed ma and pa and living nearby.... glad to have her living near, but it was nice to have an excuse to make yearly trips to washington state! haven't been out there since 2006....but hopefully in 09 will get out
oh, those blogging awards are sweet to receive and nice to know someone is reading, but passing them on sometimes can be a chore, I unfortunately have let a couple slip through those metaphorical cracks, but hey.... what can you say life interferes
Thank, Kimy. Bellingham is a lovely town. WWU has that quintessential Pacific Northwest setting: evergreen and hills. My youngest is applying as a transfer student. When you come to Seattle, be sure to give us a call!
