Dwindling Summer

  1. Hello from Mayo. Our birch leaves are like golden arrowheads on the tarmac drive. A late brood of swallows is still roosting in our porch, but not for long more. A burst of sunny weather hardly makes up for the wet summer, the nights are cool now; a beautiful moon the last few nights kept the dog barking. We had to bring him into the house to get some sleep.
