left to right: -cup from a childhood tea set -ceramic warthog from Red Rose Tea -carved wooden terrier, -plastic Virgin Mary -espresso cup that belonged to my mother -paperweight from Hawaii, a gift from my son.
i have a salt and pepper shaker shaped like cows that my brother gave me years ago; and a small (like thumb-sized) wooden cup, painted red with a blue flower, than i bought in mexico 25 years ago.
laurie -- it seems we share a predilection for keeping tiny treasure on our kitchen counter/window-sill. Mine have been in place for 20+ years. I guess that's a comment about where I spend a heck of a lot of time!
