Possess is the right word here, at least one level -- it is the male gaze, since none of the artists here are women and women didn't commission them -- to be all academisher on us at the moment! :)

gorgeous. But I do wish (selfishly) to see something like this with "older" women. I know. It's just my time of life speaking. But still. I believe it could be wonderful as well.
